Relief and Rehabilitation - More than 5500 severely affected families in 52 villages of 5 talukas in Gadag and Bagalkot districts have been provided with food packages for their family members as immediate relief
- More than 3500 affected school-going children in 21 villages of 3 talukas have been provided with education kit (packages) to pursue in their education
- 46 families in Asangi and Kataginahalli villages have been helped to repair their damaged houses
- 20 new houses have been constructed and the assets been handed over to the beneficiaries whose houses have been fully collapsed in Asangi and Kataginahalli villages
- 80 more houses for the severely affected families of Badami taluka are in the various process (stages) of construction
- More than 3000 post disaster victims in 41 villages of Badami and Hungund talukas have been imparted awareness on post disaster activities
- 26 CBOs in Badami taluka and 28 CBOs in Hungund taluka have been organized through people participation
- More than 2800 post disaster victims received psycho-social support
- 48 CBOs have understood leadership and communication skills and are capacitated in personality development
- Office bearers of 48 CBOs are being elected and role and responsibility of office bearers are being carried out and the members of CBOs are empowered
- Most of the post disaster victims are aware of their rights
- 570 persons are aware of the NREGA, BPL and Ration Card facilities
- 48 applications for NREGA and 73 applications for ration (BPL) card are being submitted to local panchayath
- 275 people are aware of PDS system
- The youth are aware of different skill trainings and the supporting agencies
- 20 unemployed girls are linked to Women and Child Welfare Department and they have applied for the tailoring cum dress designing course.
- 23 CBOs are aware of income generating activities
- A total of 49 representatives of various CBOs in Badami and Hungund Talukas demonstrate active participation in the meetings being conducted as per the need and requirement.
- 5 grass root level federations have been formed; 3 in Badami taluka and 2 in Hungund Taluka.
- The representatives have been imparted awareness on different precautionary measures to be taken during disaster situations / circumstances
- Taluka officials have been cooperative and supportive in imparting necessary information and assuring required help
- Decision to form task force having different roles to play in the process of building resilient communities such as Disaster management team, Early warning team, Search and Rescue Team, Medical and First Aid team, Shelter management team and Damage Assessment team are still in the process
